Occurrence of Ipomoea tenuipes Verdc., (Convolvulaceae) in Khandesh region Maharashtra, India

Abstract:
Khandesh regaion (Satpuda ranges) is rich in biodiversity. The present paper deals with an African species Ipomoea tenuipes, of Convolvulaceae is reported for the first time for Khandesh region of Maharashtra from different parts of the Satpuda ranges and second distributional records for India. Detailed taxonomic description, photographs and relevant informations are provided here for easy identification.
