Lichen flora of Jammu and Kashmir State, India: An updated checklist

Abstract:
Jammu and Kashmir is one of the lichen rich regions of Himalayas and often called as Hot Spot of lichen diversity in India. However, very little information is available regarding lichen flora of this region. In present study an attempt has been made to provide an updated checklist of lichen flora of the region. The study is based on previous literature available from the region.
